George getting his daily IV drip of "goodies" to fight his cancer.
George with his "hero", Bill Darlington. Bill is at the clinic this week to get a "boost" after a chemo treatment for his second cancer, lymphoma. He is a walking miracle!!
Bill's testimony is one of the primary reasons we chose Issels- he has the exact same cancer as George- only his was much further progressed.

hahaha! That's why I included that pic! Wanted to be sure you all didn't think we took the money and ran for Hawaii!! ;-) George IS getting his treatment- it just happens to be located in BEAUTIFUL downtown Santa Barbara. :-D

What a beautiful place! It seems like the perfect environment for it's purpose... they say being able to relax and unwind and just ENJOY is a great way to help heal just about anything. I've been absent a lot lately for a myriad of reasons, but you & George are constantly in my thoughts!
I've missed you. I've been away from the net lately. I'm so glad to see you've posted some about your trip. I would love to live in CA, I had always thought California was overrated. Then I visited. I get where you are coming from.
